Helene L. Glassberg, MD
Dr. Glassberg is a board certified cardiologist with a special interest in preventive cardiology, diet and exercise, and heart disease in women. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, and completed her medical residency and cardiology fellowship at Boston Medical Center in Boston.
She had been in practice as an academic cardiologist for the last 25 years. She held the position of Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Section of Cardiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she practiced general cardiology, preventive cardiology and echocardiography since 2006. Dr. Glassberg is the immediate past-president of the American Heart Association Philadelphia Board of Directors, and remains active on the board. She has been awarded AHA’s Woman of Impact Award 2024 and has made Philadelphia’s Top Doc list for the last several years.
