Dr. Ambreen Mohamed

Dr. Ambreen Mohamed is a Non-invasive Cardiologist with Heartbeat Health. She recently became head of medical education with the company.

A Southern California native, Dr. Mohamed completed her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine. She went on to earn her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Cardiology fellowship, serving as Chief Fellow, from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Mohamed has a vested interest in advanced cardiac imaging having completed subspecialty fellowships in Cardiac MRI and most recently Structural Cardiac Imaging from Scripps Clinic in San Diego, CA, where she currently resides.

She is board certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. 

Dr. Mohamed is actively involved in leadership with American College of Cardiology, Women in Cardiology section. She was selected as part of the first leadership cohort with the California section of the American College of Cardiology. She has always had a passion for helping people and is involved in charity work with providing educational grants for underprivileged girls  in Pakistan. She has co-hosted a podcast called Heart 2 Heart and is an advocate for physician mental health & wellness. In her free time, Dr. Mohamed loves to do beachside runs, spend time with loved ones, and travel the world.
